Enjoy summer, sun and life

Do you know that when you get up in the morning and everything is right... the air is gently beguiling with the scents of the most beautiful flowers, the sun warms everything and the scent becomes more intense and colourful, in addition to the tastiest fruits and of course coconut. We go to the sea, the sun cream mixes with the salt of the water and thus a very inimitable "delicious-well-good mood summer scent" is created which must never pass. Is that enough to blow your nose?
One needs such a good mood scent that lets us dive into the lightness of a perfect summer day. Oh there you start to dream and feel the tickle of the sun's rays on our skin, a fresh coconut that has just been opened and exudes its sweetness. "Sunny, yesterday my life was filled with rain..."
These are the opening lyrics of a famous Bobby Hebb's song I like very much.
Well, this scent could be the olfactive transposition of this hymn to lightness and happyness: It's like a "bottled sunny day", indeed.
At the first spray I smelled immediately its exotic charcter given by the coconut water, with the lightly sour apple and citruses accents.But after a few minutes its warm, sensual and feminine heart reveals all its charm: it's the frangipani flower marrying the Jasmine.The perfect balanced couple for a summer scent.
The base notes, made of amber and cedarwood with white musk accents, are only suggested.
This makes this scent very light and wearable also in the hottest days, but a little evanescent and with a quite weak sillage in comparison with the high price. Anyway, a very pleasant sunny bouquet giving good vibes to your summer days or a ray of light when it's raining outside!

A breath of nothing...

Luxury vacation in Italy

I took a chance, my first blind buy. And - I was rewarded!

In the reviews, I read descriptions such as "gently beguiling", "milky creamy", "fresh coconut", "soft vanilla", so my expectations were correspondingly high. I know the original Light Blue Eau de Toilette very well and wear it often and with pleasure. Interestingly, the two fragrances don't have that much in common for me personally, but I don't think that's a bad thing at all.

But from the beginning: the package arrived from the souk and I open the cap to smell it: "Mhmmm, yummy!". I smell something tropical, sweet and creamy, which clearly reminds me of a luxury vacation in the south. So I spray it on quickly! I'm greeted by slightly fresh notes (apple and lemon), but the summery, milky notes (coconut water, frangipani) are much stronger. After a while, the vanilla and musk also come to the fore and the fragrance becomes very close to the skin for me.

I find the combination of these notes wonderfully suitable for spring, but above all for summer. When I wear it, I feel like I'm in the mood for the beach and the sun, as if I'm going for a spa treatment at my wellness hotel ;), and the frangipani brings soft tropical accords with it. It also doesn't smell like sun cream, like many other summer fragrances (in case you don't like that), but simply like summer and a good mood.

It will definitely accompany me through this summer! :)
