Misunderstood fragrance...
The Black Lotus by Floral Street doesn't seem to have any fans, but for me this fragrance is beautiful in its own way
However, it is not everyone's cup of tea and the way I experience the fragrance, it is mainly rose-heavy. Pepper and saffron give this fragrance some spice, but I wouldn't describe it as warm. The interplay of the feminine rose and the spicy saffron and pepper gives me a feeling of coldness and aloofness. It has something feminine and bold à la femme fatale. What makes this fragrance very interesting to me is how it starts out cold but warms up and becomes sweeter over time. The floral notes become more prominent.
