Not who I thought you were...
Yes guys, one of my first niche fragrances, and at a time when I had less than a church mouse. My story with Black Afgano began at the age of 17 one night, when I was totally drunk on my way home and entered the almost empty bus. A sillage pricked through my nose directly into my brain, so intense that I almost stopped halfway to my seat as if paralyzed. WHAT IS THIS? I asked myself the question and looked around desperately looking for the wearer of this scent. There were only a handful of people on the bus and I could not expect any of them to do such a thing. I felt I was being led around by the nose and was even so desperate by this oppressively dark cloud of scent that I looked upside down under the seats. Like such a hectic croissant I looked to the left, right, up, down, criss-crossed. One could see that you were slowly but surely cultivating the idea that you had no business on the bus at this time of day. All were off the hook for me except for one, the bus driver. It definitely came from the front, but I would never have thought that a bus driver with this appearance would have such an individual taste. (NoFront) I went step by step to Him in front and became more and more sure, this is the culprit. The evidence spoke for itself. This dark, resinous, oriental-wooden boost, which kept poking through my nasal cavities into my thinking organ, seduced me in such a way, as no "drug" before.

I said to him, "Excuse me, uh... what's that scent you're wearing?" And he just looked to the side in surprise and said, "Watts? Yeah, you have no idea... did is mmhh... "Wait, did is Afgan... Afganoo or sooo.. I just said: "Where... Where can I buy it?" And the bus driver again: "Well, I have no idea, my wife has no idea where she got it from." For that moment I was both angry and amazed. Angry because this man was so uncharming and therefore said about a fragrance that meant everything to me at that moment. Amazed, because I thought, how can such an unimpressive man carry such a work of art on himself and then not even really know what it is. I didn't know if he was pretending to be cool or if he really seemed so dumb, because it couldn't be, I mean, didn't he smell what I smelled? Okey it was not only the art but also what this scent had done to this man and with this man. No other scent remained so positive in my thoughts as this one. Nobody wearing Black Afgano had such a fantastic scent like this irreverent bus driver. Sorry for my anger in my stomach, but it's all coming back to me now...

The next day I called the Kadewe, because I knew of course that neither Harbeck, Diamant nor Douglas would have such a wicked scent in their assortment. A young lady answered the phone and almost took away my hope by saying that you don't carry this scent here, but I might have a chance in a small perfume shop in Bleibtreustraße right next to the S-Bahn station Savignyplatz. "BelleRebelle" was the name of this small but nice store.

I, still green behind the ears and with a virgin nose on my way to the store, jumped in with a kind of euphoria, but still with a tingling feeling and saw bottles on the shelves, fragrances whose names I couldn't even read, let alone pronounce. A mature attractive woman came out of the back office and greeted me with a gentle and slightly offbeat manner. She was so gentle and relaxed that she cast a spell over me. Actually I only wanted to buy the scent and leave again, but she philosophized me so fully and I was so excited about all the scents she showed me that I didn't want to leave.

After what felt like an eternity, I went home with my scent and 10 more samples.
What should I try first? First this one or this one? I was definitely overwhelmed, but knew that this woman had just opened a door for me, or rather, she had restructured my synapses. Because I was addicted from that point on. Gizzy: "Hello I am the Gizzy and I am an addict."
All: "Hallooooo Gizzzyyyy!"

Right at home I unpacked the fragrance and was thrilled by the packaging alone.
I also couldn't believe that I had just spent 130,00€ for 30ml of black liquid. I knew it, the old one was a witch.
I sprayed two squirts left and right on my neck and not even 10 seconds later my mother shouted from the living room, which was at least 20 meters away, "Boa ey what is that again." I had to admit, the smell was already more intense than anything I had ever known before. My parents hated the smell. I convinced myself it was my personal favourite and went out into the world. Everyone but really everyone around me gave me negative compliments. As I later realized, the scent really did smell penetrating and sour on me. Okay, I didn't know how to dose it, but once I knew, it didn't get any better. I looked for mistakes and wondered how it could be? This scent that had so excited me that day disappointed me so much about myself? Compulsively I tried to apply all possible dosage variations on different days in such a way that it reminded me of this miracle moment. In vain I had to realize that this could not bring back the euphoria of that day.

It took me years to understand that this was the way it had to be for me to gain access to the world of fantastic fragrances. So Black Afgano was my gateway to Neverland.

Thank you for letting me share this with you.

Sillagemonster......
What a rich and unusual fragrance.
Recently I was in my city perfumery and I was recommended the Black Afgano. I knew him from hearing. I have to say directly that I bought it right after the test. At the first test smell the fragrance was so strong present that it almost hurt in the nose.
I could clearly smell the herbaceous notes in the top note.
Then the scent struck warmer and darker tones. Oud and incense were well perceptible. Together with the Harzigen notes they resulted in a wonderful composite tone.
I noticed dark and woody scents which harmonized wonderfully with the warm nuances of the fragrance.
Also a light acid was present but this is not citric but probably comes from incense or cannabis. But I can't say for sure.
I just can't get enough of this woody resinous scent composition. I was right in the middle of it. Couldn't take my arm off my nose.
I think the typical Nasomatto flacons are great made and very noble.
Black Afgano has a very high durability.
The Sillage is enormous. One splash is enough to cover all other scents when entering a room. So be careful in the office or small closed rooms. In an airplane, for example, this scent would be a reason for an emergency landing.
My recommendation for all who are looking for an extraordinary fragrance, get the black monster.

Of unpunctual demons and Amazon rituals
Like a dark train, the dim image rattles through my still virgin scent imagination. Did I even want to test a scent that apparently opens the door to the afterlife and uncovers dark forces? Trembling and circularly wet I closed the scent side, burned the WLAN modem, tried to forget Black Afgano. Perhaps the mere reading of the awesome comments had already summoned the forces in question to the plan. Maybe it was too late already.

Narcotic. Mystical. Drug frenzy in the darkroom. In the past, people would go to areas of the Amazon to communicate ritually with beings from other spheres, but now this was apparently in spray form. That was out of the question for me newbie scent. When I wanted to communicate with beings from other spheres, I went to the next Penny and asked the aggressive staff about Quinoa. This is how I had done it so far and saw no reason to change my habits. So many fragrance creations passed my nostrils, the earth turned around diligently, Black Afgano was not an issue.

But one day the uncanny forces of the black Afghan waved through detours into my reality. A perfume buddy said the unbelievable: Everything not so wild at all, beautiful smell, one can test times. Was he already taken in by the darkness and wanted to lure me in madness into the seeping moor of the Harz Oud notes? The imaginary order button pressed itself, now there was no way back. At least since Jeremy Fragrance I knew that fragrances could make gold-plated The-Rock-Johnsons out of self-respecting freaks. Maybe they were able to pull a freshly bathed angel like me to the dark side.

The bottling was now there. The sky was cloudless that day. The promised demons had apparently got their act together on the way to me. The first sprayer was carried out without earthquake and without near-death experience.

My fragrance: Deep, dark, almost juicy in the dark. There's no dirt, freshly polished tops. Fortunately, the cowshed and the fox house lie on different latitudes. Although the fragrance shows a clear edge through the resins and the woody herbaceousness, it looks round to me as a whole. I actually perceive the mysticism mentioned - only without magical distortions of reality. Because he has something original in him, something that appeals to the basic instincts. When one was still surrounded by smoking wood under the open sky and could be worked by herbaceous miracle cures the senses. But I don't necessarily see Black Afgano in globetrotters who are fighting their way through nature in search of the initial. The perfume carries the original much more compressed in itself and unfolds it contemporary on the urban playground. Because Black Afgano is noble and noble motifs help in case of doubt in nature only to a limited extent. I see him unfolding his magic in dimmed bars, on the slopes, at upscale occasions and in rustic pubs. Because it combines edge with avant-garde chic.

Black Afgano speaks to something in me that I can't exactly verbalize. He's moving something. And that's exactly what I expect from scents. That they rest in themselves, but still move. The shelf life is extreme, the dosage makes the poison here. Considering the potency and the peculiarity of the fragrance, 124 Euros for 30ml Extrait de Parfum is fine from my point of view. What surprised me the most was the external impact of the Black Afgano. So far I have received only positive feedback from my age group (under 30, I am still an infant). A friend of mine, who doesn't deal with the topic in detail, couldn't decide between Black Afgano and Aventus when choosing her favorites from my small collection.

In the nightlife the black Afghan floats in spite of his heaviness with ease over the scent bubble of cotton candy, swimming pool and vanilla cake. He should not be underestimated. I can see him dressing up fast. A certain casual presence of the wearer helps. I am lucky in this case that the DNA lottery has provided me with physical conditions that are well compatible with the scent. But in the end it works on every person who feels comfortable with it and therefore wears it. Nevertheless, one cannot transfer the individual experiences here 1:1 to each person. That's rarely smart, in this case pretty stupid.

Towards the base, I like it a little less, which in these dimensions is nothing more than a side note. The juicy, dark depth is now drier and lined with more smoke. Black Afgano is for me in the right dosage a well wearable dark wood smell, which tolerates the sun only with cold temperatures. Noble, strong and distinctive. And that comes from someone who's having trouble with dirty oud scents. The comments on EssenceVitae must always be seen in the context of the author's fragrance preferences. Black Afgano has naturalness in it, but remains contemporary at the same time. Basic instincts go hand in hand with trained civilization.

The dark train was on its way to the thicket of the Amazon. But itineraries change, demons make different plans, and scent sensations are different. That's why I now call a bottle of juicy darkness my own and look forward to every opportunity to show the originality in me the city

The truck among the truck perfumes
Nasomatto's Black Afgano is undoubtedly one of the strongest perfumes in the world - and not without reason. As a perfume extract, it is stronger than ordinary perfumes and takes a unique scent route with dark green tones in the top note as well as cannabis. With tobacco, resins and woods in the heart note, the fragrance takes on an even deeper character while agarwood and incense in the base note solidify it in a very unique way.

The durability and sillage of this fragrance is as brute and powerful as a 40 ton truck on the A1 direction towards Buxtehude Kreppelbach. Everyone notices him already hundreds of meters away, no one comes past him and once set in motion stops him nothing and no one more.

This fragrance is the truck among the fragrances.

Two sprays already hold days on you and over a week on your clothes. Even after showering you smell this dark and mysterious essence. For me, without a doubt, the strongest perfume in the world and an eternal placeholder in the top 5 of my best fragrances.

Good smell.

A.

Where did that monster go?
a long time ago, I first saw Black Afgano... strong, oily, creaky, hypnotic, engaging, smothering, monster vibes, meltdown, instant ovulation...
Man, was he rad...!

At that time I already found Black Afgano very exciting, horny and unique... he's been around since the beginning! Resin-oil-bomb, which from the first second on makes your nose hair fall off, produces goose bumps and makes your belly button pop outwards - simply a bang...!

It was like I said, a very long time ago, when I first met Black Afgano... i hadn't bought him until then. (Unfortunately)

Lately I like almost only strong to very strong fragrances, so I just ordered the Black Afgano... i knew he was a monster and that's exactly what I need right now :)

Arrived at my place, sprayed carefully on the forearm (1 proper sprayer)... and: Yes, the smell is still as I had it in memory, crunchy, oily and really really horny! but where is the monster???

Either I'm already "hardened" by other strong scents / drunk, or the Black Afgano is no longer the monster it used to be??

i can't say for the life of me whether I simply perceived the Black Afgano as stronger in the past because I didn't wear such strong fragrances as I do today, or whether perhaps the formulation has been weakened...?

Well, I still really like the scent of Black Afgano, so I just have to spray it on a bit more to make it pop ;-))

If someone has had similar experiences with the Black Afgano, I would be very interested :)

This is not a scary scent. Beautiful, woody, powdery and slightly herbal. To me, it smells of sandalwood, incense, coffee, and mint. Easy.

Nice balsamic woody that gets a little sweet in the drydown. Perfectly wearable in casual settings year-round. Worthy of its hype.

This is probably the darkest scent I've ever used. It has a strong, dense, impenetrable, smoked composition. Amazing!
