The Spirit of the National Holiday: The New "14 Juillet" Eau de Parfum by Bastille

In honor of the French national holiday, the Parisian perfume house Bastille presents the unisex fragrance "14 Juillet", which combines fruity-fresh with spicy-warm notes.

The spirit of July 14 in a bottle, like fireworks, the joy of a shared moment, luminous and universal. An explosion of freshness that unveils a "fireworks" accord to blend better with the addictive comfort of Madagascar vanilla.

The composition opens with smoky, powdery notes of fireworks, accompanied by fruity blackcurrant and the tangy freshness of tangerine. At the heart, the warm, balsamic notes of labdanum merge with the fresh, floral elegance of violet leaves, refined with a spicy hint of cinnamon. Finally, the fragrance ends with the sweet and creamy warmth of benzoin, tonka bean and vanilla.

Irish perfumer "14 Juillet" was inspired by the French national holiday Meabh McCurtin . The perfume is intended to capture the spirit of French festivities, the "French touch" that echoes from the bustling streets of Paris to the villages. It is a fragrant tribute to the elegance, conviviality and spontaneity that define France.

14 JUILLET is an invitation to embrace freedom and joy, at any time and in any season, capturing the essence of togetherness and celebrating life the French way, every day of the year. 14 JUILLET, every day is a celebration.

The birth of a nation: July 14 and its significance
Every year on July 14, the storming of the Bastille and the Federation Festival are commemorated. As a former fortress and later state prison in Paris, the Bastille stood for royal despotism and oppression. The storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789, in which seven prisoners were freed, marked the first great liberation of the French people and the end of the absolute monarchy. The following year, the Federation Festival was celebrated on the Field of Mars in Paris to celebrate the values and achievements of the French Revolution.

Bastille

Marie-Hortense founded Bastille in 2020 out of a passion for natural cosmetics and the desire to create fragrances that impress with their naturalness and originality. The Parisian fragrance label focused on ecological and ethical practices right from the start: No plastic, collaborations with local partners and the production of perfumes in Grasse. Bastille also donates 1% of its sales to the Surfrider Foundation, which works to protect the oceans. The label's perfumes consist of 95% natural ingredients and 5% synthetic components as well as organic wheat alcohol. Transparency is an important concern for the label: Bastille discloses all ingredients so that customers know what is in the perfumes.

The new fragrance is available in flacon sizes of 50 and 100 ml.
